AGRICULTURAL CHEMICAL DISTRIBUTION ASSOCIATION OF SOUTH AFRICA
The association was formed in 1998 by and for members involved in the retail distribution of crop protection products to end users.
ACDASA represents agrochemical dealerships in the Republic of South Africa and is a member of AVCASA. We are recognised by the agrochemical industry and all relevant stakeholders as the mouthpiece of the retail agrochemical distribution trade. ACDASA stands in the forefront of the crop protection industry. We strive to develop and maintain a professional image for the retail agrochemical industry and encourage members to pursue ethical marketing practices and customer care. We promote the responsible use, application, handling and storage of crop protection products as prescribed by legislation.

ACDASA serves its members by:
- Creating a business environment and providing strategic services in support of members’ business sustainability
- Maintaining the continued alignment between distribution and supply within the agroscience industry
- Providing and administering an effective agent accreditation system and service
- Offering benefits through collective bargaining for resources
- Improving industry standards through continued training and communication.
- Promoting the industry through effective communication and innovative PR campaigns
- Ensuring that the association remains the preferred distribution channel for suppliers
- Addressing the needs of the emerging-farmer community
ACDASA promotes the interests of the farmer by:
- Providing guidelines and practical assistance in the responsible use of crop protection products by both the farmer and his workers
- Ensuring that accredited member agents are easily identified via an ID-card system
- Offering much needed added value services such as
- Use before problem identification and solutions
- Expert, individualised written, product recommendations
- Spray equipment calibration
- After-sales problem identification and product efficacy evaluation
- On-farm training of farm labourers
- Product transport, storage and delivery needs
- An all-embracing customer care programme
